Sydney, 16–18 May 2027 | International Convention Centre (ICC)
Parkinson’s Australia is bringing the country’s only national Parkinson’s conference to Sydney, welcoming people living with Parkinson’s, carers, support partners, health professionals, specialists, and researchers for three days of connection, learning, and collaboration.
The 2027 theme is “NOW + FUTURE” — celebrating how the community connects today while shaping a better future through research, care, innovation, and connection. Expect plenaries on emerging treatments, practical workshops on living well, dedicated sessions for carers and Young Onset Parkinson’s, and valuable networking opportunities with over 600 expected attendees.
Day one (16 May) is a dedicated Health Professionals’ Day, designed for GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, pharmacists, dietitians, exercise physiologists, and nurses involved in Parkinson’s care. Days two and three open to everyone.
Located at 27 Wentworth Avenue, ibis Styles Sydney Central puts you in the heart of the city, with Central Station just a 9-minute walk away. That makes getting to the ICC and exploring Sydney between sessions straightforward, whether you’re arriving by train or heading out after the conference.
With Central Station within walking distance, you’re well connected to Sydney’s transport network. The hotel also offers convenient rail access for those planning to extend their stay and explore the beaches or other parts of the city.
Rooms are described as cool, comfortable, and quiet, with kitchenette facilities and air conditioning — a welcome setup for conference-goers who want a restful base after long days of sessions and networking. The hotel also offers accessible room options.
On-site dining at Mee So serves Japanese and Korean-inspired dishes — bao buns, donburi bowls, gyoza, and more — plus in-room dining available until late, handy if you’re reviewing notes or recovering after a full conference day.
The hotel serves Industry Beans coffee throughout, including cold brew, for those who need a proper caffeine fix before a morning plenary or during a break.
Chinatown is just a 6-minute walk from the hotel, with its noodle houses, dim sum spots, Asian supermarkets, and bubble tea stops — ideal for a casual dinner or a quick break between conference days.
Book your stay at ibis Styles Sydney Central for PANC27 and keep your conference experience simple, central, and comfortable.
